Brechas de preparación digital e informacional en la empresa Latinoamericana: una evaluación multipaís

Objetivo. Examinar si la preparación digital y la capacidad operativa de gestión de la información se desarrollan de forma paralela en las empresas latinoamericanas de países determinados, e identificar las características organizativas asociadas a configuraciones equilibradas y asimétricas de preparación. Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque. Se armonizaron microdatos de 2143 establecimientos con veinte trabajadores o más de Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, México, Paraguay y Perú, procedentes de las Encuestas de Empresas del Banco Mundial de 2023. Se aplicó un análisis de conglomerados ponderado y se interpretaron los modelos de clasificación mediante valores de Shapley. La estructura dimensional de ambas medidas se contrastó mediante análisis factorial confirmatorio sobre matrices policóricas. Resultados/Discusión. Ambas dimensiones se asociaron de manera positiva, con análisis correlacionales, El perfil digitalmente avanzado persistió sin los ceros estructurales, si bien con un centroide informacional muy superior (38,67 frente a 10,09). El contexto nacional, el tamaño de la empresa, la capacitación formal y la certificación de calidad fueron los factores explicativos de mayor peso, si bien la discriminación predictiva resultó moderada (exactitud balanceada de 0,49 a 0,58). Conclusiones. La adopción digital no supone necesariamente un uso maduro de la información en la operación, y las configuraciones de preparación conservan un carácter marcadamente nacional. La brecha propuesta es un contraste descriptivo entre dominios y no debe emplearse como índice de ordenamiento entre países. Originalidad/Valor. El estudio propone un marco conjunto y reproducible para detectar el desajuste entre la capacidad digital y la gestión basada en información, a partir de microdatos comparables a escala de empresa y aprendizaje automático explicable.
