The metric study of the supplements published by the newspaper Ahora (1933-1935)

Abstract

The article presents different elements of the research “The metric study of supplements published by the newspaper Ahora, 1933-1935”: data from the Cuban historical period known as the 1930 Revolution and from the Ahora newspaper, published during that time; Identification and description of supplements edited by this newspaper; Structure and forms of retrieval of the analytic index created to describe its texts and illustrations. With the application of the metric techniques, it was possible to know the number of works by sections, the most frequent subjects, the most productive authors, the frequency of works by number of authors, among other indicators.
