Methodological preparation of teachers of Bibliotecology. Reflections

Abstract

An analysis is made on the problem of teacher preparation in the specialty of Library for the training of librarians at the Fernando Aguado y Rico Polytechnic Institute, and other centers in the province with the specialty; from the important changes that occur at the present time in the technical and vocational education and specifically for the preparation of teachers that assume the crucial task of teaching learning of new generations. The challenge of their individual and collective training; innovative, appropriate, in keeping with the technical and organizational changes, the extraordinary growth of information and knowledge and technology generated products, their impact on the dissemination of information and knowledge by the rapid economic, social and cultural development. The preparation of teachers who will be multipliers of the most advanced in this area, these human resources must be at the level of its time, this proposal preparation should be through a set of actions to be accurate, efficient, current and master the use of new technologies in terms of improving the quality of teaching and training of future workers of information through a comprehensive general culture.
