Abstract

Public Library René Orestes Reiné provides reading and information services to Diez de Octubre population. A very strict statistic control takes place in every service offered to the costumers. Large quantities of paper and cardboard are needed to fulfil the library´ statistic control, due to the huge amount of information generated by the diverse and complex reports drawn up. To all the above joins the Institution’s economical difficulties to acquire resources to develop its daily activities. An application for statistic processing of the main services provided in this centre in needed immediately.
