Historical perspective and methodological conceptual system concerning Informational Behavior

Abstract

This is the first of two parts, reflecting the integrated results of research of both authors, in which we analyze the theoretical and conceptual aspects and models related to information behavior. It highlights their essential characteristics and a comparison is made based on the study of selected analytical categories. The structure of this first part is based on the results of the research of Zayas (2009-2012), in which the analysis of Núñez research are inserted (2002-2013). It addresses the main definitions relating to information behavior and equivalent concepts or associated with this. Reference is made to several dimensions such as: origin, types, and patterns of information behavior, as well as all the aspect related to this field.
