Abstract

The behavior of scientific research is characterized at the Scientific-Library Science Symposium, an annual event of the Martí Provincial Library in Villa Clara. Bibliometric indicators are applied to single authors, subjects, institutions and municipalities of the territory. The varied relationships of co-authors are represented in the resultant scientific work. The evolution of the event's name as a factor which influences its identification and visibility is examined. Consideration of the possible causes is analyzed from the facts that occur contextually
