José de la Luz y Caballero: Study of the document flow through his bibliography (1830-2000)

Abstract

This presents the results of applied research from an updated compilation of a bibliography of José de la Luz y Caballero, a prestigious 19th century philosopher, educator, and Cuban thinker. From the organization and representation of the contents of his bibliographic output, a characterization of the distinctive elements is made which allows specifi cation of the performance of the document fl ow through the application of bibliometric techniques, showing the characteristics of his intellectual published work and the treatment given to this important person’s life and work during the period studied
