Analysis of the information system of the School of Social and Humanistic Sciences at the University of Granma

Abstract

This work deals with the capture of requirements of the teaching learning process system in the faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences at the University of Granma and its Humanity Department. For This purpose, some methodologies have been used, such as: Methodology of the Information Sciences, Metric Methodology to model the information fl ow system using the Visible Analist software, as well as, the application of the Microsoft Offi ce package to carry out the stadistic analysis and to elaborate a dictionary. Talking into account these results, the software Devolopment Unifi ed Process as a methodology of Informatic Sciences is used to determine the requirements, actors and cases in which the future software system is going to be used to accomplish management information from the teaching learning process to the universitary system.
