Abstract

From philosophical, social and pedagogical perspectives, theoretical assumptions are presented which support the integration between the public library and school library systems. The recognition of shortages, through a previous diagnosis in the relationships of these two systems, a study of the problem and the proposal of a methodological strategy that enable the integration between public and school libraries is presented. Its application shows it to be effective and relevant
